Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking staff for our 28-bed Medical Surgical unit. The role is full-time with a night shift (3 12-hour shifts) and rotating weekends/holidays, on a fast-paced team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will provide routine patient care, perform routine procedures, collect vital signs, and maintain complete medical records. This position emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement within a Shared Leadership Council.

Qualifications

• Performs routine patient care to promote comfort and overall plan of care.
• Collects patient data including vital signs, intake/output, and other delegated measurements.
• Maintains complete patient records with admission, transfer, and discharge information.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Collects specimens and data per unit policy and standards of care.
• Recognizes changes in patient health status and communicates with licensed professionals.
• Performs procedures and uses equipment under supervision of licensed staff.
• Supports department operations with clerical duties and data collection.
