Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson will provide patient-centered care on a 3-12s night shift in a seasonal 13- or 26-week assignment. You will deliver care in a fast-paced MedSurg unit, collaborate with neurologists and a multidisciplinary team, and follow established protocols.

The role requires 1+ years in the specialty, eligibility for state licensure, BCLS, ACLS preferred, and a commitment to quality, safety, and patient education.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure in good standing with state requirements.
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Document patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
