Job summary

650 DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS at Clinton Veterans Home seeks a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time night shift. The role provides direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under supervision, including vital signs, ADL support, charting and patient escort.

Shift is 6:30PM–7:00AM with a $0.87/hr differential from 3PM to 7AM. Starting pay is $20/hr for <1 year of experience, rising to $22/hr with more than one year of experience.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in providing patient care.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes in patient condition.
• Escort patients and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Order, receive, and store supplies; perform basic clerical tasks.
