Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time night shift at Clinton Veterans Home. Responsibilities include direct patient care, vital signs, ADLs, and basic clerical duties under supervision.

One year of patient care experience is required; English proficiency and strong communication are essential for effective care and documentation. The role includes a shift differential and evening/night hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the English language to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to record observations and follow directions, and to maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
