Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities under RN supervision, support mobility and comfort, and help maintain infection control practices.

The role requires CNA certification and possible driving duties; evening shifts are available and full-time schedules. Benefits include health coverage and retirement plans; sign-on bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process of certification.
• Annual 12 hours continuing education and department competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining and recording vital signs.
• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper technique.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees as needed.
