Advocate Health Care is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the 34402 Aurora Sinai Medical Center - Med Surg. This full-time, benefits-eligible role offers a 40-hour work week with a night shift (2300–0730) and every-other weekend requirements, plus holiday rotation.

Pay range: $20.80–$31.20 per hour. The Nursing Assistant supports the RN with daily patient care, documents vital signs and I&O in the EMR, and assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.

Formación

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs, I&O, daily weights; document in EMR.
• Conduct purposeful rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharges; room setup and orientation.
• Ensure patient call lights are reachable and respond promptly.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain stock and clean equipment; assist with patient positioning and transfers.
• Assist with dietary needs and skin care per RN directions.
