Job summary

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Clinical Care Operations unit for the night shift (6:00pm–6:30am). You will work with the unit RN staff to deliver quality patient care, support daily living activities, and maintain accurate medical records.

This full-time role offers growth within Banner Health and a 3000 hire-on bonus for eligible CNAs. Candidates must have a CNA in state practice, BLS certification, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience; preferably in hospital/physician office or customer service.
• Excellent organizational, human relations and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan of care.
• Collect patient data including vital signs and input/output; document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status to other caregivers for continuity of care.
• Perform procedures under supervision (e.g., blood draws, foley removal, EKGs) as delegated.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records and supply management; requisitions and charting as needed.
• Assist with transporting patients and assist in OR room turnover per unit needs.
• Work under supervision on assigned unit in a fast-paced environment with focus on customer service.
