Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in East Mesa, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Medical-Surgical Department on the night shift. This full-time role provides basic nursing assistance, vitals, hygiene and mobility support, and staff collaboration.

You will work three 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with rotating weekends/holidays. A CNA/LNA license and BLS are required; a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required; CNA/LNA license in state of practice is required.
• Experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collect vital signs and document data for the medical record.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support as needed.
• Relay patient status changes to the licensed clinician.
• Support unit operations and maintain patient records and supplies.
