Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bottineau, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the care team under a registered nurse.

Qualifications include completion of CNA certification and enrollment in certification if not yet obtained. The role offers full-time hours, a night shift, and a $5k sign-on bonus with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with State Board, or be enrolled in a training program obtaining certification within four months.
• Minimum age 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver depending on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meals; support vital signs collection.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises; participate in programs as needed.
