Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bottineau, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care setting. You will support residents during night shifts, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and document care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications include CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process within four months of starting, supported by facility.
• Minimum age 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Monitor and record vital signs; communicate changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, range of motion, and personal care.
• Assist residents with meals and dining; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and document care.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry support as needed.
