Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bottineau, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and support the nursing team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, mobility, feeding, vital signs, and documentation. CNA certification and completion of state requirements are essential; position includes 12 hours of annual continuing education

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
Maintains yearly competency testing and continuing education credits (12 hours annually).

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance as per care plan.
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and activities of daily living.
Document resident interactions, monitor vital signs, and relay concerns to the charge nurse.
