Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA) or Certified Medication Aide for the Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Alabama. This full-time night shift role runs 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, with every other weekend.

Night and weekend differential, sign-on and retention bonuses are available. You’ll assist with intake, vitals, medications within your cert, EMR documentation, and coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver safe,

Formación

• Must hold CMA or CCMA certification or be a Certified Medication Aide.
• Night shift availability required; 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Experience in clinical settings and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs.
• Support medication administration within your certification and applicable regulations.
• Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition and respond to urgent medical needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care.
