Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Medication Aide for a full-time night-shift position at Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Alabama. Work 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend, with night and weekend differential and a sign-on/retention bonus.

Qualifications

• Certification as CCMA, CMA, or CMA required or preferred.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts.
• Ability to work in a correctional healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs.
• Support medication administration within your certification, authorized duties, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care.
