Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA) or Certified Medication Aide for a full-time night shift at Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Alabama.

Work 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, with every other weekend and night/weekend differential available. Eligible candidates will perform patient intake, vital signs, and medication administration within their certified scope, while maintaining accurate EMRs and coordinating with the healthcare

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs
• Support medication administration within your certification, authorized duties, and applicable regulations
• Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments
• Maintain electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care
