Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or CMA, or Certified Medication Aide to join our full-time night-shift team at Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Alabama. Work 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend, with night and weekend differential and a sign-on bonus.
You will assist with intake, vitals, medication administration, prepare patients for visits, maintain electronic medical records, and collaborate with the care
Formación
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or CCMA; Certified Medication Aide eligible.
- Night shift availability and 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to perform vitals, patient intake, and medication administration per regulations.
Responsabilidades
- Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs
- Support medication administration within your certification, authorized duties, and applicable regulations
- Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties
- Recognize and report changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care
