Job summary

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Clutch Operator on the Night Shift for our Kings Mountain, NC team. The role includes assembling clutch components and coordinating with automated cells, with safety and quality as top priorities.

The position offers a starting hourly rate and pay increases at 6 months and 1 year, with core hours from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. Relocation is not provided; candidates within a 50‑mile radius are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT for this position.
• Relocation assistance is not available; candidates within 50 miles will be considered; active duty military exempt.

Responsibilities

• Assemble clutch components and assemblies from drawings, specs and work instructions.
• Operate multiple assembly stations, including automated and Co-Bot cells.
• Adhere to safety, quality procedures and company policies.
• Assist in on-the-job training for new employees.
• Support Eaton's quality systems and ISO 9000/TS 16949 CQI-9 and ISO 14000.
• Inspect products for quality and perform quality checks within standards.
• Work overtime as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain 5S/Lean housekeeping and participate in continuous improvement.
