Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Clutch Operator for the Kings Mountain, NC area. The role runs on the Afternoon Shift with core hours 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm. The pay range is $20.59–$26.21 per hour with planned increases at 6 months and 1 year of service.

Responsibilities include assembling clutch components, operating multiple stations including automated and Co-Bot cells, and following all safety and quality procedures. Overtime and Lean initiatives are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
• Relocation assistance is not available; candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble clutch components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from specifications and work instructions.
• Cross-train and operate multiple assembly stations including working around automated and Co-Bot cells.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures and company policies.
• Assist in on-the-job training for new employees.
• Perform quality checks and maintain quality standards.
• Overtime, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
• Maintain 5S/Lean housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform minor and preventive maintenance on assigned stations.
