Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Heat Treat Operator - Nights in Kings Mountain, NC. The role covers setting up and operating heat-treat and blast-cleaning equipment, loading/unloading parts, and following the Load Plan to ensure efficient heat-treat cycles. Salary ranges from $22.15 to $27.60 per hour with raises at 6 months and 1 year of service.

Hours are 5:45 pm to 6:15 am. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of machine operator experience in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Kings Mountain, NC facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned machines and blast-cleaning equipment.
• Load and unload metal parts from heat-treat furnaces and manage load/unload cars.
• Assemble gears, shafts, washers onto fixtures per Load Plan for heat-treat cycles.
• Maintain heat treat logs, inspection tags, and test pin IDs.
• Assist furnace technicians and maintenance personnel as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals.
