Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Vehicle Group in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Lead Production Assembler (Days) to join the team. The role focuses on assembling clutch components and overseeing assemblers, with responsibility for line flow, safety, and quality in a highly automated environment.

The position offers a daytime schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with overtime possible. Candidates should have a HS diploma and prior clutch assembly experience, and be within 50 miles of Kings Mountain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience assembling clutches or other automotive assemblies required.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly and stand for up to 9 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble clutch components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from specifications and work instructions.
• Direct and train assemblers in your area and support supervisors with continuous improvement activities.
• Plan line flow, coordinate changeovers, ensure proper tools, and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Perform minor and preventative maintenance; monitor safety and quality issues and escalate as needed.
