Job summary

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is looking for a Manufacturing Technician - Night Shift in Kings Mountain, NC. Set up and operate CNC equipment to process machined components from rough material for pre–heat treat stages or post–heat treat stages.

You will use SPC and precision inspection tools to ensure part quality, select and inspect tooling, and readprocess sheets to maintain tight tolerances. This role requires safety adherence and teamwork during night hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Kings Mountain, NC and relocation is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment and gauging to process machined components.
• Use inspection tools (SPC, gauges, micrometers, indicators) to ensure part quality.
• Select, install, and inspect tooling; monitor wear and adjust as needed to maintain specs.
• Produce parts meeting gear-related specifications and readjust setups as needed.
• Inspect samples and maintain SPC charts and related documentation.
• Perform minor maintenance and use hand tools as required.
• Handle materials safely and follow all safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and TS 16949/ISO 14000 systems.
