Job summary

Pipeline Health, LLC is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the night shift to perform moderately complex and complex laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank and serology per CLIA.

Work is on-site at Community Hospital of Huntington Park, CA, with a part-time schedule; responsibilities include QC checks, maintenance, specimen handling, and adherence to HIPAA and AIDET principles in patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in an accredited hospital laboratory in at least two sections preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policies and documents review.
• Ensure QC is acceptable before releasing patient results.
• Perform maintenance, monitor temperatures, handle specimen rejection and troubleshooting.
