Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join our team at Ascension St Agnes in Baltimore, MD. The role supports high-volume laboratory workflows with a focus on accurate testing and timely reporting.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological sciences field, plus 1 year of lab experience or MLS degree, and ASCP/AMT certification preferred. Evening/night shifts are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• Degree requirement may be substituted by CLIA-equivalent credentials.

Responsabilités

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to criteria.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
• Identify and replenish testing supplies as needed.
• Assist with processing specimens when required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and PPE usage.
