Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join the team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, MD. The role requires handling specimens, performing tests, and maintaining equipment with attention to quality and safety.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accurate reporting and patient care. The position offers shift 3, every other Friday and Saturday, 11:00pm to 11:00am, with opportunities for advancement and professional development in a leading global diagnostics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science or Medical Technology is required.
• MLS degree or 1 year+ clinical lab testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report timely test results to support patient care.
