Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical Unit on nights. You will provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support nursing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include current BLS certification and CNA licensure in the state, with about one year of clerical or hospital experience preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required.
• Approximately 1 year of medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the care plan.
• Collect vital signs, monitor status, and document in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient transport as needed.
• Support nursing staff and maintain unit supplies and equipment.
• Transcribe orders and communicate patient needs to team clearly.
• Maintain accurate charting and patient education materials.
• Participate in room turnover and basic reception/clerical duties.
• Ensure patient safety and report abnormalities promptly.
• Adhere to unit policies and state scope of practice.
