Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming, is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Progressive Care Unit. You will support nursing teams, assist with ADLs, charting, and ambulation, and learn to perform EKGs under supervision.

This is a full-time day shift (3 12-hour shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm). BLS is required; CNA certification and hospital experience preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support mobility and nutrition.
• Collect vital signs, inputs/outputs, and other data; document in medical records.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Assist with procedures (EKGs, catheter removal) under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records, chart forms, and supplies; support ordering of specimens.
