Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit. Join a tight-knit team providing routine patient care, ADL assistance, charting, and support to nursing staff. This is a Full-time Day Shift Position, 3 12's 6:00am-6:30pm.

Training in EKGs and critical care fundamentals is provided. Ideal candidates hold a current CNA license and BLS, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice required.
• Typically around 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems required.
• ECG interpretation training or course may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collect vital signs, input/output data and document in medical records.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and report to licensed staff.
• Perform procedures (blood draws, removing foley, EKGs) under supervision.
• Support receptionist/clerical tasks to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Maintain and file patient records, ensure forms are accessible.
• Keep supplies stocked and manage equipment inventory as needed.
• Assist with patient transport and OR room turnover when required.
• Work under supervision on the assigned unit in a fast-paced environment.
