Job summary

Performance Food Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. This essential role operates on a 3rd shift with Sunday–Thursday nights and a 4pm–7pm dispatch window.

You will hold a CDL-A with Doubles, maintain DOT compliance, pass pre-employment checks, and contribute to safe, efficient distribution for America’s food supply. Benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 8+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass pre-employment drug test.
• Maintain a clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Meet DOT health card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspects trailer for proper load security and documents.
• Drives and delivers trailers per route schedule and completes paper records.
• Turns around and delivers full/empty trailers to designated yards.
• Maintains daily hours of service and keeps area clean.

Skills

21 years of age

Clean MVR past 3 years

Able to hand-lift 60–90 lbs
