Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to yard locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem/truck tractor trailers on intrastate routes, adhere to DOT regulations, and communicate with customers and coworkers professionally.

The role requires a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass drug tests and road exams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure freight and equipment for transport.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required.
• Unloads and handles freight and maintains cleanliness of trailers.
