Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate/interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety policies.

The position requires a CDL A with Doubles endorsement, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and the ability to work a 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers along assigned routes in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain accurate hours of service logs and necessary paperwork.
• Inspect freight loading and securing; ensure route paperwork accompanies the load.
• Unhook, park, and store equipment per safety guidelines; report issues immediately.
