Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating company warehouses and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You'll drive tandem/tractor trailers on intrastate/interstate routes, ensuring DOT compliance and safety.

Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers while performing duties on a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights. Responsibilities include safety checks, paperwork, route adherence, and proper securing of freight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months+ commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections as per DOT rules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
• Drive and deliver trailers per route schedule, collect paperwork.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards safely.
• Communicate with customers and co‑workers professionally.
