Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile yards, operating tandem, tractor or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes.

The role requires night shifts Sunday through Thursday, DOT compliance, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and vendors; safety checks and reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• 1+ year commercial driving experience preferred.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; DOT Health Card current.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and road test.
• Must be 21+ and meet state licensing requirements.
• Able to lift 60-90 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections and DOT compliance.
• Reports safety issues and necessary repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Drives trailers on prescribed routes and adheres to schedule.
• Unloads or secures freight as needed.
