Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver for night shifts (Sunday-Thursday 5:30pm–4:30am) to transport empty trailers and deliver full trailers to domiciles and shuttle yards. The role requires a CDL A with Doubles endorsement, 21+ years of age, and DOT compliance.

Starting pay ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually with comprehensive benefits, growth opportunities, and a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Inspects tractor/trailer and trailer to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to predetermined route schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Ensures all equipment and freight are secured.
• Completes daily log of hours of service in accordance with DOT and company requirements.
• Performs general housekeeping duties in the truck, loading dock area and trailers.
