Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to shuttle empty trailers between operating company warehouses and domicile yards. This role involves operating a tandem tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering full trailers safely and on schedule in compliance with DOT regulations.

The position requires a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, willingness to work a 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday -Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; reports hazards.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to route schedule; secures freight.
• Completes daily log of hours of service and related paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
