Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. in Naples, FL is seeking a Shuttle Driver for a night shift role, Sunday through Saturday with one day off weekly.

You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers safely while complying with DOT rules. Requirements include a valid CDL A with Doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, clean MVR, pre-employment drug test, road test, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 12 months of commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain
• Able to lift 60–90 lbs and operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations
• Inspects trailer for proper loading and securing freight
• Drives and delivers trailers according to route schedule
• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs per regulations
• Performs general housekeeping and related duties as assigned
