Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.

The role operates on intrastate and interstate routes, with DOT-compliant safety checks and professional customer interactions. The ideal candidate has a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, a valid DOT health card, and a willingness to work a 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday with occasional Friday deliveries.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues or needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailers for proper load security.
• Maintain route paperwork and dispatch readiness.
• Drive, deliver, and hook/unhook trailers as required.
• Park, secure, and inspect equipment; manage waste and detritus.
