Job summary

Minnewaska Community Health Services is seeking a Care Attendant to provide personal care and health-related services to residents, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing. The role reports to the Housing Manager and involves night shift duties with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, medications as delegated by the RN, monitoring health changes, and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• ACNA/NAR or HHA certificate preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Background study form checks for certain criminal convictions or serious maltreatment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares and activities of daily living.
• Observe changes in health and report to RN.
• Administer medications as delegated by RN.
• Record vital signs and assist with meals.
• Maintain safety and follow care plan protocols.
