Minnewaska Community Health Services seeks a compassionate Care Attendant to help residents with daily living activities and related health services under supervision. The role involves personal care, observation, and documentation to support resident wellbeing.

The position is part-time, includes shift work, and requires English literacy, with a preference for ACNA/NAR or HHA certification. Training and compliance with care plans are essential.

Qualifications

• The ACNA/NAR or HHA certificate is preferred but not required.
• Applicant must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with personal cares including hygiene, dressing, grooming and mobility as assigned.
• Administer or assist with medications as delegated by RN.
• Observe residents and report changes in health or behavior to RN.
• Provide compassionate care to promote independence and well-being.
• Adhere to safety procedures, documentation, and care plans.
