Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant in Minnesota to provide hands-on care for residents, focusing on physical and emotional support. Duties include assisting with ADLs, meals, activities, and documenting daily progress.

The role emphasizes communication with residents and families, ensuring safety and quality of life. Benefits include health care, vacation, and retirement matching, with night shifts from 10pm to 6am and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily and in the care book.
