Aster Springs is seeking a FT Night Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in our Virginia behavioral health facility. You will assess medical needs, transcribe orders, administer medications, and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating pharmacy and lab orders, documenting daily progress, and guiding discharge planning. A valid Virginia nursing license and CPR/First Aid are required, with 1 year of relevant

Qualifications

• Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and valid Virginia license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably with eating disorders.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 15 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Transcribe and communicate physician orders; administer medications per MAR.
• Record observations and contribute to care planning with the treatment team.
• Coordinate pharmacy and lab orders and ensure controlled medications are secured.
• Prepare discharge instructions and educate clients and families.
