Safe Harbor Recovery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work night shifts in Portsmouth, Virginia. The RN will provide direct nursing care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, develop and evaluate individualized care plans, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license. One or more years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or addiction

Formación

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in Psychiatric Nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients and supervise care by LPNs/CNAs and other staff.
• Administer medications as ordered and document accurately.
• Transcribe and review physician orders, ensure legibility and safety.
• Coordinate with the treatment team and report changes in patient status.
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and patient education.
