Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current Virginia nursing license to practice.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare; psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive nursing assessments identifying clients' medical needs and limitations.
• Transcribes physicians' orders and manages STAT orders as needed.
• Communicates observations and recommendations for the plan of care to the treatment team.
• Documents medication administration per policy and procedure.
• Coordinates pharmacy and laboratory orders, deliveries, and refills with vendors.
