Odyssey Behavioral Group in Glen Allen, VA is seeking an Experienced RN for a full-time night position. The nurse will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications, transcribe orders, and coordinate care under physician direction to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment within the treatment setting.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, Virginia licensure, and a minimum of 1 year in behavioral health with psychiatric nursing experience

Formación

• Associate or higher in nursing; current Virginia license.
• Minimum 1 year in behavioral health; psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Experience with medication administration and charting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments identifying medical needs.
• Transcribe and execute physician orders; manage STAT orders.
• Document care and plan of treatment in timely electronic notes.
• Administer medications and coordinate pharmacy/lab orders.
• Maintain controlled substances security and proper documentation.
• Support therapeutic environment in collaboration with staff.
