Job summary

Maker's Pride in Illinois is seeking a General Labor III – Mixing to support daily production. You will stage ingredients per specs, weigh and record data, and operate mixers and ovens in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The role emphasizes GMP/HACCP compliance, precision in measurement, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Starting pay is $23.65/hour with shift differential for 3rd shift, and benefits begin after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication to understand manuals, follow formulas, and record data.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.
• Great attention to detail.
• Basic math for weighing ingredients and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 90% of shift.
• Willingness to train other employees.

Responsibilities

• Weigh dry and liquid ingredients into containers.
• Record weights, ingredient names, lot numbers on the mixer log.
• Operate mixers, ovens, and related baking equipment.
• Complete QA and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
