Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Alsip, IL is seeking a General Labor, Packing team member to join our bakery. You will pack baked products according to case counts and quality specifications while maintaining foodsafety standards, supporting line flow, and contributing to a clean, safe production environment. Shift: 3rd; Hours: 7:45PM - 6:15AM; Days: Mon–Thu, Fri overtime.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to lift 20-30 lbs as needed.
One year of related experience or training (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Pack products consistently according to quality, case count, and customer specifications.
Monitor and communicate product quality issues to leads and operators.
Support production flow by placing filled containers on the conveyor or into cases for further processing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and foodsafe work area in compliance with GMPs.
Follow production instructions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and food safety.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Contribute to a safe environment by reporting potential contamination or hazards.
