Job summary

UPS in Sacramento is seeking a reliable Journeyman Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, with propulsion systems ranging from diesel to hybrid and electric in some locations.

You’ll troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems and engine controls. Candidate must have a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Mechanic experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Dependable with regular attendance and timely reporting.
• Willing to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Use power and pneumatic tools as required.
• Work in a variable temperature environment with safety gear.
