Haleon is a world-class consumer health company dedicated to delivering better everyday health with humanity. The Automation Technician will maintain automated systems, support operations on 12-hour night shifts, and drive reliability and safety across production lines.

Ideal candidates bring strong electrical/automation background, hands-on PLC experience, and a commitment to GMP and safety programs. This role offers a shift differential and performance bonus as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.
Certification from a trade school in Electrical, Computer Operations, or Automation, or a degree in a maintenance-related field.
Alternatively, relevant military experience or at least two years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with PLCs, VFDs, and other automated systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain updated all machinery automation systems.
Execute automation and electrical preventative maintenance, inspection, and corrective actions on machinery operations.
Troubleshooting on automated system problems and make necessary repairs.
Update and troubleshooting on recipes system.
Perform equipment breakdown analysis related with electrical and automation issues, implementing solutions to increase reliability of equipment.
Recommend improvements and modifications to production machines.
Documenting completed work and the conditions found and analysis, utilizing CMMS.
Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of machinery operations.
Work within an operations driven team environment to resolve issues and improve performance.
Execute maintenance troubleshooting and equipment improvements by reading automation programs, electrical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.
Capable of knowledge sharing in terms of equipment maintenance good practices through work instruction review and training.
Follow safety procedures, LOTO, JSA, and GMP compliance.
