Job summary

Haleon is hiring an Automation Technician to maintain electrical and automation systems on 12‑hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am). You will support operations, troubleshoot automation and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to equipment reliability in a GMP environment.

Role requires technical certification or degree in maintenance‑related field, plus hands‑on PLC/VFD experience and knowledge of CMMS documentation. Benefits and competitive pay available.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification from a trade school in Electrical, Computer Operations, or Automation, or a degree in a maintenance-related field.
• Alternatively, relevant military experience or at least two years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with PLCs, VFDs, and other automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain updated all machinery automation systems.
• Execute automation and electrical preventative maintenance, inspection, and corrective actions on machinery operations.
• Troubleshooting on automated system problems and make necessary repairs.
• Update and troubleshooting on recipes system.
• Perform equipment breakdown analysis related with electrical and automation issues, implementing solutions to increase reliability of equipment.
• Documenting completed work and the conditions found and analysis, utilizing CMMS.
• Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of machinery operations.
