Job summary

Haleon plc. is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain and optimize our automated manufacturing systems on a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm–7:00am).

You will work with operations and maintenance colleagues to troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment performance in a GMP environment. The role requires electrical/automation certification or related degree, hands-on PLC/VFD experience, and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with related certification or degree.
• Trade school certification or degree in maintenance/automation is preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance with PLCs and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain updated all machinery automation systems.
• Execute automation and electrical preventative maintenance, inspection, and corrective actions on machinery operations.
• Troubleshooting on automated system problems and make necessary repairs.
• Update and troubleshooting on recipes system.
• Perform equipment breakdown analysis related with electrical and automation issues, implementing solutions to increase reliability of equipment.
• Document completed work and conditions found using CMMS.
• Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of machinery operations.
