Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The role emphasizes safety, TPM, and autonomous maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will perform PM and PdM activities, support line setup and changeovers, and work with Operations to ensure equipment uptime and reliability while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years work experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul equipment within close tolerances.
• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process and packaging equipment.
• Conduct Preventive and Predictive Maintenance with minimal guidance.
• Support Operations in equipment setup and changeover and train operators in Autonomous Maintenance.
• Document Work Orders using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance.
• Participate in TPM activities and train fellow technicians/operators.
