Job summary

Alkegen in Ohio is seeking a night-shift Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running by installing, maintaining and repairing plant systems. You will work from 4 PM to 4 AM EST, perform routine checks, respond to daily work orders, and ensure production readiness across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical domains.

You will weld and fabricate as needed, assist contractors, complete PMs, and document activities while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Certificate in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 3–5 years Industrial Maintenance experience; 5–7 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks of the plant at the start of each shift.
• Receive daily work orders from Maintenance Supervisor and follow instructions.
• Respond to maintenance calls on production lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Provide mechanical repairs and assist outside contractors as needed.
• Weld and fabricate to completed projects; rebuild and repair used machinery.
• Perform PMs and paperwork on schedule; maintain oil reservoirs and replace filters.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; repair motors, drives, PLC I/O.
